Parker sideboards, dining chairs and tables
For the dining room and kitchen, you’ll find Parker’s Nordic dining chair, the model #107 matchstick chair, and Parker retro bar stools. The range also included butterfly-extension tables, double-extension dining tables, and fixed rectangular, round, and oblong designs. Sideboards remain one of Parker’s most recognisable contributions, from classic teak veneer and lip-handle models to the famous cat-eye sideboard, produced in different lengths to suit various spaces.
Parker armchairs and lounges
Seating was a major part of Parker’s output. Many of Parker’s chairs were made from local hardwoods, particularly Blackwood. Notable armchairs include models #110 and #155 with woven rattan backs, and the Conversation chair with its detailed armrests. Parker also produced recliners, high-back and low-back chairs and a wide range of lounges, often purchased as complete suites.
Parker coffee tables
Parker's teak coffee tables are still widely collected. The rectangular model with rattan magazine rack came in two sizes, while the round sundial coffee table is rare and sought after. Parker also made a range of nesting tables that were both beautiful and functional.
Parker Nordic bedroom furniture
In the bedroom, Parker’s Nordic range remains highly desirable. The Nordic bedside tables, with a single drawer and tapered legs are among the most collected. Parker also produced matching dressers, tallboys, dressing tables and wardrobes.
